BOOKS. WERE. BOUGHT!
I am criminally guilty of chronically complaining about how none of the super flashy reader events happen in Los Angeles, California. And, I hear myself!– This is the most born and raised in Cali thing I could say. However, Dark Fantasy Romance author Amber V. Nicole was not on my bingo list of authors I would get to meet IRL in my hometown. Me and my friends bought our tickets, grabbed In & Out burgers and animal style fries before the event and giggled our way to one of the best bookish nights I have had this year.
Not only did I get to meet Amber, but I got introduced to two new authors and their body of work. Stacey McEwan was debuting the last book in her romantasy trilogy and Kate Golden, another fantasy author, moderated the entire event. The Ripped Bodice is really onto something! Having author interview authors at these events is simply genius!
So not only did I get my physical copy of The Dawn of the Cursed Queen signed by Amber V. Nicole… I bought Stacy’s and Kate’s books and so many more! Here’s that Haul!
