Hi, I’m Divinity! Lover of books, writer of stories, and professional silly goose that is a little bit obsessed with romance and fantasy.

Div’s Book Crumbs is a creative hub where I write serialized fiction, share all the bright spots in my life, and document my journey with chronic illness, disability, and navigating my identities as a queer non-binary and Black woman.

Think of this as a cozy (and often chaotic) corner of the internet where we celebrate the little things that make life brighter and make our joy from scratch one story at a time!

Good To Know 🩷Before🩷 You Subscribe:

🤝 My pronouns are she/they. I use them interchangeably and appreciate when both are acknowledged. I refer to myself as “girl and girly” often because all girlies are not “girls” and Girlhood is a community of people that embody many genders that I consider myself a part of.

🤝 I am a chronically ill person who’s ability to perform everyday tasks is in constant flux. If you are someone who has an expectation of perfect consistency as a prerequisite to your support in any capacity, this may not be the publication for you.

🤝 My original series are not “trends” for fellow creators to copy and credit. I do not want to be credited or copied for my intellectual property. This is a very firm boundary for me, especially as a Black woman who has to work harder than my non-black and able-bodied counterparts for visibility in the creative community.

🤝 I’m neurodivergent and also dyslexic. I thank you in advance for being gracious with me with any recurring typos or grammar mishaps. I definitely try my best!

Because of stories, I believe that strength witnessed becomes strength acquired. I believe in the power of imagination to write our own stories and reclaim our own narratives. I love looking deeper into stories and films to see what we can learn from them IRL. Together, we could embrace the joy of being transported to fictional worlds where we can borrow courage from our favorite characters to reimagine and create a world we don't need to escape from.

Welcome to the journey!
